However, the issue is not entirely black and white. If a user violates YouTube's terms of service (ToS), the company may terminate their account, as stated in the policy: "YouTube will terminate a user's access to the Service if, under appropriate circumstances, the user is determined to be a repeat infringer." To download YouTube videos responsibly, the only option is to pay for YouTube Premium at $11.99 per month.
